Awareness of one's identity is a complex and at the same time fascinating process, in which a coherent picture of the world is formed from a mosaic of knowledge, feelings and perceptions.

Part of this process is our mythological ideas, beliefs, faith. It is important for the individual and society in general to understand this part of our identity, how it is formed and what influences it.

  • How do the traumatic events of our time affect the change in the worldview of an individual, society and the formation of identity?
  • What is the archetypal significance of land, lineage, and family in Ukrainian consciousness and how are they reflected in literature?
  • Why is interest in pre-Christian beliefs growing in society and how is this reflected in modern literature and the demand for it?
  • What manipulations exist regarding the religious identity of Ukrainians, how to overcome them?
  • What should the formation of the religious identity of Ukrainians be based on?

These and many other questions were discussed with the listeners by Olena Romanenko and Liudmyla Filipovych during the open online discussion "How do archetypes, myths and religious ideas affect modern Ukrainian identity?" ", which took place on June 18 on the basis of the educational platform "In search of identity".
