ABOUT PROJECT

Diplomatic mission of Ukraine abroad implements by cultural diplomacy as a part of Ukraine’s foreign policy. Effective formation renewed image of Ukraine on the international scene requires competent cultural management, strong knowledge of history of art and culture, understanding of the global map of cultural events and their specifics. The typical training of diplomats in higher educational institutions of Ukraine currently does not include a separate module on cultural diplomacy.

At the request of the Ukrainian Institute, the NGO “Cultural Project” developed a course of lectures for the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in order to enhance the professional qualifications of the existing diplomacy in the field of cultural diplomacy.
