ABOUT PROJECT
Instagram School "50 Museum Treasury Collections" – was an educational media-project oriented on popularization of Ukrainian art museums. An Instagram account with 50 most interesting images of Ukrainian visual art was created and promoted. Each image was described in a professional, but accessible way. Each post got a geo-location and the convenient description to make museums more popular for domestic tourism. The main goal of the project was to face the problem of little knowledge on masterpieces presented in Ukrainian museums. A few Ukrainians know that it is possible to encounter works by Peter Paul Rubens, Juan de Zurbaran, Alessandro Maniasco, Frans Hals, Jacopo Amigoni, Matthias or Francesco Guardi in domestic museums. This project is one of our many tools to make audience grow personally, which resulted in the increase of Ukrainians interest to their artistic heritage and promoted the development of domestic cultural tourism.
